11月7日，深圳市电子竞技运动协会（以下简称深圳市电竞协会）举行第三届会员代表大会，并进行换届选举。创梦天地当选为第三届会长单位，并由创梦天地联合创始人兼总裁高炼惇代表出任会长。
深圳市电竞协会成立于2009年，先后主办、承办了各类电竞赛事、裁判员培训班等活动近七十场，连续成功举办了九届深圳市电子竞技锦标赛，连续四年举办了全国电子竞技公开赛深圳赛区选拔赛，并组织队伍参加各类全国的总决赛，为深圳市电竞运动健康发展发挥了充分作用。
作为一名热爱电竞的80后，高炼惇在会上表示，自己在游戏行业从业18年以来，一路见证中国电竞业的崛起，从2000年在网吧打第一份工开始接触电竞，到首届WCG在中国举办却未能匹配相应的网络条件，再到最近的英雄联盟S8总决赛中国电竞队伍IG夺冠。
而创梦天地也已经初步建立起电竞闭环布局：电竞战队方面，成立IDS战队、投资NW俱乐部；拥有公会资源，和头部玩家、专业电竞人才建立了深度联系；直播方面，创梦天地投资了熊猫TV；场馆方面，好时光影游社可以使电竞赛事落地。创梦天地正依托好时光影游社打造全民电竞平台。
今年4月，澳门电子竞技总会成立，创梦天地CMO何猷君担任首届会长。6月，由创梦天地与澳门电子竞技总会等联合主办的澳门电竞嘉年华成功举办，在澳门电竞史上创造了多个“第一”，例如是全球第一个有专业电竞选手带现场普通观众组队“吃鸡”的比赛。
“深圳作为中国的游戏之都，也必将成为电竞大城。”高炼惇说，“创梦天地将竭尽所能营造健康、蓬勃的电竞氛围，推动电竞的体育化和大众化，为建设国际化体育强市做出贡献。”
